Artist Daniel Rozin presents his reflectionless mechanical mirrors

Information

Video published by WIRED

In this 8-minute video, Daniel Rozin shows us his unique art, which attracts quite a lot of interest.

He assembles panels made of many small plates mounted on one or two axes of rotation. A camera films the whole piece from the front, and reproduces the image through the tilt angles of each plate, darkening or lightening it depending on the angle, creating a mirror effect on materials that do not reflect.

Clearly, his art also requires the talent of an engineer and computer programmer.

To create these works, he mainly recovers recycled components, from motherboards and processors to electric airplane motors.
